Welcome, Im Dawn an experienced qualified integrative counsellor and clinical supervisor and a registered member of the BACP. I am trauma informed trained and also trained in online and telephone counselling & supervision.
About me and my practice
I work with adults in an integrative way combining Humanistic, Psychodynamic and CBT approaches as this fits my own philosophy of not one approach fits all.
I aim to provide you with a warm, compassionate, confidential counselling relationship within a safe therapeutic space where you can talk freely about what is troubling you and explore the challenges you are currently facing.
Together we might look at your patterns of behaviour, thinking around behaviours and early childhood or past experiences and how these may be impacting on you in the here and now and the way you relate to self and others.
Counselling is not about me giving you advice or guidance. It is an opportunity for you to express and explore your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and experiences in a safe environment where you feel valued, heard and understood and for us to look at all the options that may be open to you to deal with your concerns more effectively.

Initial Consultation
I offer a free initial 15 minute introductory session either online or by telephone with no obligation to continue.
If we both decide to proceed, I will invite you to attend a 50 minute assessment session and send you a copy of the counselling agreement in advance of the booked assessment appointment.
The assessment session fee is £50 and you can decide if you would like to attend this session online or by telephone.
